DevsignerCon 2014 & 2015

How I helped

Devsigner is a Portland based organization promoting innovation and creativity in the design and development industry. Devsigner celebrates the cross-overs, the multi-disciplinarians, the coders who paint and the designers who send pull requests — and those who want to develop some new left-right brain skills.

I rebranded the organization to give its this event a more premium, ‘must be part of’ quality. This included a simplified logo and color palette alongside strong, clear type styles and imagery that work across multiple devices.

iLock Security

How I helped

iLock Security is a leading mid-market home security firm. To maximize the number of deals coming into the business and support the growing industry, we were asked to look at the firm’s online presence. We designed a search engine friendly website around the hard-working, confident and honest personal approach of iLock Security’s sales and service technicians.

Through intuitive navigation and links we gave visitors quick and easy access to relevant information and multiple opportunities to get in touch.

Millie's Restaurant and Bakery

Millie's is a restaurant series located in Southern California. I was super stoked to take on the task of creating full branding for the chain. Logo design, menu designs, interior & exterior signage, customized aprons, and food photography direction. This project allowed me to created custom illustrations and work with a well established rustic brand. There is still more in the works with this as I post so stay tuned... including the new look of their pie boxes.

Drupalcon Portland 2013

An international event that brings together the people who use, develop, design, support the Drupal platform.

The resulting mark ended up feeling very portland-esque and location appropriate. It does a good job of capturing the feel of the city from the representation of the Fremont bridge to the mountains, trees and even to the framing element resembling our most prevalent commodity — rain.

Dog Gone Walking Service

Dog Gone is a walking service and contemporary pet care hub based in Portland, Oregon. I had the pleasure of branding this new business from the ground up, creating their logo, overall look & feel and print design.

The positioning of the brand offers a fun laid-back environment where dogs and humans are treated with dignity and respect.

Dog Gone Walking Service is built on the idea that people can channel the love and humility their dogs provide, into new relationships and collective community engagement.
